Hi Kimberly,
As far as I remember the devs of that app mentioned that you might have to reduce the size if your phone seems to be having trouble with it.
Also, I just checked Android Market and both the paid and free versions have August 19, 2011 as last update times. If you really want this app I'd try reaching the devs first to see if they're planning any updates as the app might simply not be compatible with newest Android OS updates. (which is most likely the reason you are experiencing those problems).
Cheers

p.s. my images were small, as they were taken at with my Droid X, as a medium sized picture. Is it due to this reason?

Thanks for your comment Annie!
Glad you like the app. Yeah, not a big fan of watermarks, but you know, they need ot make you buy the full version some way or another. I prefer this than trail versions etc. Everybody's got to make a living.
Cheers

That's strange. I had no problems with that at all. But to be honest, I haven't had really a lot of time to use it. I just take photos and synch them with dropbox nowadays. Can hardly find any time to properly organize photos and share them with family. Thanks for your comment! Btw, I've heard Instagram team is working on Android app (this time for real). Yet, I am not a big fan of the idea of registering/logging in just to add simple filters on your photos.

Thanks for your comment Ravi,
On of the reasons I do not like Instagram is the need to register/login. I believe a lot of users out there want to start experiencing nice photo features straight-away and not share more of their information. Especially nowadays that there is more and more privacy concerns and people are more aware of their data in the web.
