This week, per my friend’s request, and also as part of my weekly Comscore data comparison I will be focusing on two e-commerce websites. eBay being world’s largest C2C (consumer to consumer) site. Amazon, on the other hand, being one of the largest B2C (business to consumer) websites. To add a bit more data I’ve decided to throw in Argos.co.uk. It’s been a really busy week and I had not much time to post anything new. As I’ve recently started using social bookmarking sites again (mostly to investigate certain technological solutions), I’ve decided to take the biggest ones under scope and look at their audience. This week it’s StumbleUpon vs Digg, and a bit of Reddit and other sites competing in the area of social bookmarking.

Every now and then, a new price comparison website emerges on the European market bringing basically same service to thousands of potential customers that will “save on mortgage/credit card/loans etc”. Price comparison websites are incredibly convenient for users, saving them hours of surfing through numerous websites of banks, credit providers, etc.
Instagram made a huge difference in quick photo editing and photo sharing field. It’s yet another example of how the simplest solutions win hearts of millions of people. Android users feel a bit left out and are long striving to have Instagram for Android. With that demand it would seem reasonable for the makers of Instagram to rush into other popular platforms, like Android. It’s been months now and there’s no sign of it. There’s speculations that publishing apps exclusively on iOS gets you better deals with Apple plus your app gets featured on iPhone/iPad tv spots.
